2010 Software Development Roadmap
In 2009 NIPO Software’s main software development focus was on our NIPO Fieldwork System for CATI /CAWI and on the NIPO CAPI System. Behind the scenes NIPO Software spent much time on the development of Nfield; our new scalable and resilient data collection system. This year our main focus will be on releasing a commercial version of Nfield.

Panasonic and NIPO Software have the pleasure to announce a revolutionary joint offering that will reduce the cost of ownership in modern CAPI operations. Market research companies can order state-of-the-art, robust touchscreen Panasonic Toughbook series laptops with the NIPO CAPI interviewer client pre-installed.

Recently, Research freeway from Japan launched their 150th online survey at NIPO Software’s hosting services. Mr. Masato Numako, Managing Director at Research Freeway: "In Japan online research is very important. With NIPO Software hosting facilities we are able to reduce the costs fieldwork whilst maintaining high response rates."

One of the recognised improvement areas of Nfield versus the current NIPO Fieldwork System or NIPO CAPI system is the ability to control the user access to surveys and overviews. Nfield has an extensive permission structure that drives what users are able to do and see in Nfield.

In the autumn of 2009 we had the pleasure to welcome Doris Fung as one of our new staff members at the NIPO Software Helpdesk in Hong Kong. Doris has a strong background in business consultancy and support. At NIPO Software Doris will focus on giving technical support to our customers.

NIPO Software user’s can significantly reduce time and effort in bringing NIPO Software format data to SPSS products for statistical analysis, by making use of the NIPO Software Dimensions / PASW Data Source Component. This module guarantees the highest possible level of integration between NIPO Software and SPSS.

On the Useful Tools section a new tool is available: ReportQ. It can be used to present CATI or Web fieldwork overviews to people internally and externally without having to give them access to the NIPO CATI/Web Manager or the NIPO FMS.
