NIPO Software Customer Satisfaction Survey 2008
We are happy that so many customers took the time to participate in this important survey and we would like to thank you for that. The results of the Customer Satisfaction Survey tell us if NIPO Software is on the right track and where we should take action in order to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
The general conclusion is that NIPO Software customers are highly satisfied and committed. You are very satisfied with the performance of NIPO Software products and the contact you have with your sales manager and the NIPO Software Helpdesk.
However, you also see clear points for improvement. The most obvious areas where you expect us to improve are:
information on new products
capabilities of the NIPO Software Website
keep to target dates regarding product development
solutions to your products regarding product development
We are glad to inform about our recently started project for a complete redesign of our website which will contain among other things more capabilities for you. Further in this Newsletter you can read about our engagement of a Communications Manager. Next to that we have started the recruitment for additional product managers so that we will improve the dialogue with you about your needs and wishes.
Behind the screens we have been working hard to improve the predictability of our software development process. We have installed a product management team to drive software development, invited a representative selection of our customers to join software development think tanks, re-structured within our software development teams and invested in various project management tools. This gives us the confidence that we are able to realise the releases for coming year.
Regarding the addition of new functionality within our products, our product management team will discuss the detailed needs together with an expert network of our customers and translate these needs into functional requirements that are the basis for our software development team.
We will keep you informed on progress on these topics.

NIPO Software Communications Manager
Per 1 November 2008 Meike Elskamp has joined NIPO Software in the position of Communications Manager. She has 15 year experience in marketing communication at international IT companies and therefore she will be a perfect asset to our company.
NIPO Software wants to be in a continuous dialogue with you, our customers, so we can establish strong partnerships. Meike will focus on improving the information we sent to you regarding our organization, products and our decisions on development of future versions of our software.

TNS taken over by WPP / Kantar
In November 2008 TNS was acquired by the Kantar division of WPP. NIPO Software is a full subsidiary of TNS and thus now also part of the Kantar Group. NIPO Software is very optimistic about this take over. The Kantar group is an exciting family of companies that work under their own labels like Millward Brown, Research International, Lightspeed Research and TNS. NIPO Software will remain an independent entity under the Kantar umbrella.
Kantar is highly interested in optimizing the performance of operations and NIPO Software has an excellent track-record for supporting this. Kantar fully supports NIPO Software in supplying our products and services to companies outside the Kantar group.

Nfield Code
We will release the successor of the NIPO Coding Module coming Spring 2009. With Nfield Code, NIPO Software presents a complete solution for coding open ended questions collected with the NIPO Fieldwork System and the NIPO CAPI system. Nfield Code allows you to code text, audio and images and work together in coding teams. NIPO Software will continue support of the Ascribe integration.

Nvision Script
NIPO Software has decided to postpone the release of the first version of Nvision Script until first half of 2009. During the operational test phase we concluded that we were not yet fully satisfied with the quality of the Nvision product. At the moment our development team is working to extend the initial version of Nvision Script to a complete solution for fast and powerful data processing and tabulation.

NIPO Software product development
2009 will be an exiting year for NIPO Software because of the long list of promised releases. As mentioned we will launch Nfield Code, the new NIPO Software coding solution in spring. During summer you can expect a serious update on the NIPO CAPI System and an update to the NIPO Fieldwork System 1.10 for CATI/Web Interviewing. And at the end of the year our new fieldwork system Nfield will see its first commercial release with the launch of Nfield Phone, the new NIPO Software telephonic interviewing studio.
With the development of Nfield we believe we will offer you a better solution for collecting your data: more reliable, more intuitive, more flexible, more powerful and better organised with integrated project support and strongly improved monitoring functions that you can run in-house or on our hosted environment. We are convinced that with Nfield NIPO Software is ready for your future!

New Useful Tool: Interviewer Performance Report
As you will know, on the Customers section of the NIPO Software website you can access the Useful Tools section. NIPO Software clients can download these tools free of charge (a login username and password is needed to access this website section).
This new tool has recently been added to the section:
Interviewer Performance Report
All fieldwork performance data is stored in the NIPO Fieldwork System database, but sometimes clients need to carry out some actions to analyze this data. Keaton Fong, NIPO Software Helpdesk Hong Kong, has created the Interviewer Performance Report tool to help a client in Taiwan quickly getting the key performance indicators of their projects. We adapted the tool and decided to make it available for all our clients.
What the tool does is connect to the ContactLog and gather performance data for the selected survey. Various indicators are shown on a total survey level, average performance and per individual interviewer. The report shows interview time, interview time of successful interviews, calls dialed, valid calls, successful interviews, quota’s, screened out, refusals, appointments, success rate, refusal rate and efficiency.
The tool itself is an application that only needs to be unzipped and it includes documentation on how to use this tool.
